As our new Microsoft Cloud Engineer you will enable customer success and meet the evolving needs of our business through the delivery of Microsoft Platforms and Platform support within the Microsoft services space. Your expertise on best practise will allow you to deliver customer obsessed support and automated platforms to our ES and SMB customers.
What YOU get to do:
Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft platforms and hosted web applications
Define and Implement standards and procedures in the Microsoft Services Space
Automation of Microsoft platforms, repeatable work and anything else you see an opportunity
3rd Level Resolution of escalated or complex Technology and Platform support within the Microsoft services space
Collaborate with your team and business leaders to drive innovation and improvements
Collaborate with Solution Architects on best practise regarding solution design and implementation methods.
Work with the Microsoft Tech Leader on the delivery of key project work and initiatives
Knowledge share and coaching of other MS Engineers
Maintain documentation and add amendments regarding solutions, changes and incidents
What YOU will have:
Demonstrated experience in managing / working with Microsoft platforms on VMware / Azure / Office 365/ Active Directory / Web is essential
Demonstrated experience with automation of Microsoft platforms and OS/Middleware services (Lots of ways to automate, tell us how you've done)
Experience coaching and providing technical leadership to other engineers – highly advantageous
Experience in defining and implementing new standards, procedures and operational efficiencies
Project delivery experience using an agile approach is highly advantageous
Customer obsession and a willingness to engage customers directly
Demonstrated ability and willingness to acquire new knowledge to support the success of and team direction (We pay for certifications!)
The ability to manage conflicting priorities in an environment of continuous change and complexity
Team player with a desire to collaborate
Comfortable challenging the status quo
Please note, we do provide 24/7 support to our customers and there is an on call requirement for this role. Our team is remunerated for this additional time, on top of their annual salary.
