Most Australians will use an application or service developed by Melbourne IT via its enterprise customers.

Your Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our business on a Permanent Part-Time basis and make a valuable contribution as our Company Secretary. Reporting to the CFO you will perform the role of Company Secretary for Melbourne IT Limited and its subsidiaries, responsible for the overall corporate governance function for the Group.

What YOU get to do:

  • Ensure that the Company complies with ASX Listing Rules, Corporations Act and any other relevant laws and regulations
  • Manage Board & Committee meetings and activities
  • Manage the AGM preparation
  • Coordinate the preparation/production of the annual report
  • Manage the Share and Employee Share Plan registry relationships and coordinate all activities involving the registries
  • Provide guidance to directors and management on corporate governance matters
  • Liaise with external legal, financial and other professional advisers in relation to various corporate and related matters etc

What YOU will have:

  • Demonstrated experience working within an ASX listed company
  • Tertiary qualifications in Legal or Company secretarial related discipline
  • Strong experience in senior stakeholder management
  • Excellent technical and drafting skills, meticulous attention to detail
  • A winning attitude
