The Role:

Your role is to drive effective use of Agile principles, processes and behaviours ensuring Agile standards and guidelines are adhered to during delivery. Reporting to the Head of Delivery you’ll be working with the wider Stream Teams to ensure successful completion of projects.
Lead the planning, development, testing and implementation activities of a multi-functional agile team. Facilitate effective team interaction, providing direction on effective agile delivery and continuous improvements.
 
Responsibilities:
• Provide Iteration Management/Scrum Master services across functional teams
• Drive all iteration activities and ensure the engagement of agile practices and discipline
• Ensure the adherence, adoption and training of agile practice is delivered through the organisation
• Facilitate the coordination of work assigned to one or more scrum teams
• Monitor communications between the delivery team members and the Stream Leads
• Facilitate the identification and estimation of the delivery features in the product backlog
• Facilitate the prioritisation and grooming of product backlog with all business units in the group
• Work with the Project Managers, Scrum Master(s), Product Owner(s) and the delivery team to manage scope within iterations
• Help to determine the resource needs of the team and build out the capability in agile practice
• Help the team to remove issues that are impeding the progress of work
• Understands the end-to-end impact of work on other streams to minimise disruption caused by interdependencies
• Update and maintain the risk registers and other planning and management artefacts on behalf of the team
 
Preferred skills and experience:
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Demonstrated people, project and program leadership experience
• Experience in an Iteration Manager/Scrum Master role on one or more large projects, including multiple delivery teams
• Deep practical knowledge of the application of Agile principles and practices
• Experience of complex business transformation projects
