Your Role:

As our Team Leader, Linux Services (on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract) you will deliver world class Linux hosting platforms that meet the constantly evolving needs of our business.

What YOU get to do:

  • Thought & technical leadership of the Melbourne IT Linux Hosting Platforms
  • Delivery of platform roadmaps & architecture
  • Delivery of platform whilst ensuring continuous improvement
  • Manage team workload and delegate as appropriate based on business demands.
  • Research and champion new technology frameworks
  • Establish, measure and report on team KPIs
  • Management of On-Call/ Afterhours Rosters

What YOU will have:

  • Demonstrated experience leading a Linux/ UNIX team
  • Previous experience working in a commercial IT environment
  • Exposure to Red Hat Linux or derivative distributions
  • Familiarity with high level automation experience
  • Ability to define and implement new standards/procedures and promote efficiencies
  • Outstanding commitment to customer service
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills
