There has never been a better time to join the Melbourne IT Group!  We are looking for a strong leader that will accelerate the transformation of our business through a world class talent acquisition program. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you’ll be responsible for leading the Talent Acquisition Team from strategy to execution.   

Your Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Chief People Officer to design the talent acquisition strategy and deliver on ambitious multi-state growth targets.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture business partners and business leaders to assess requirements for headcount growth and overall workforce planning.
  • Establish, track and analyse metrics to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of your team of talent acquisition managers, hiring managers, interviewers and all parts of the talent acquisition process.
  • In partnership with the marketing and communications team, lead employer branding and recruitment marketing efforts to effectively communicate our brand and employee value proposition across internal and external channels.
  • Establish a world class candidate experience consistent with the group’s employee value proposition and culture.
  • Help drive sourcing efforts to ensure that we have a solid pipeline of high quality active and passive talent.
  • Foster a recruitment culture that involves all team members in attracting and securing top talent for the group.
  • Effective financial management of the talent acquisition budget - tools, marketing, community engagement, university relations, employee referral program, immigration and relocation.

What you bring to the table:

  • You have a solid background in progressive talent acquisition experience, with experience leading a high-performing and results-driven talent acquisition teams.
  • You have a knack for optimising the talent acquisition process through the use of data and analytics.
  • You are a dynamic and engaging communicator with stellar collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • You thoroughly enjoy leading and managing a multi-location teams from setting KPIs, managing performance and career development to coaching and mentoring.
  • You have a passion for working in technology focused businesses.
