Your role:

The role of Senior Systems Engineer is to execute changes and consult on services provided to customers in line with ITIL and Agile based policies and procedures, to meet customer requirements and maintain the health and stability of the service within a Managed Services environment.

What YOU get to do:

  • Provide guidance and thought leadership to external and internal customers
  • Assist the Managed Services Team Engineers in day to day management of servers
  • Assist team members within the Managed Services Group in implementing services requests for Microsoft technologies
  • Identify areas for efficiency gains and work with internal teams and external customers in resolving issues
  • Provide proactive end to end solution management

What YOU will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in AWS, highly desirable
  • Proven experience in Database production support in either an Internal, Shared or Managed Environment
  • Database Administration SQL Server experience
  • Solid exposure to Windows Server, IIS, application hosting and database connection strings
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities in an environment of continuous change and complexity
