We have an exciting opportunity to become a Sales Manager, within the SMB Commercial Leadership team. You will lead, coach and manage a team of experienced and highly capable BDM's - driving a high performance business culture. As a leader in our SMB business you will strategically manage and drive revenue growth as we continue to identify opportunities and strive for sales excellence. You will partner with our Product and Customer teams to ensure that Melbourne IT continues to deliver business success to our clients.
What YOU get to do:
Lead high-performing, efficient Sales teams ensuring operational processes deliver key financial outcomes
Be acutely aware of team performance, adjusting as needed to deliver on business goals while seizing opportunities to improve performance
Partner with Marketing team on lead generation processes, focussed on optimising sales conversion rates
Embed key Sales tools and systems eg. SalesForce and Sugarcrm to drive sales process efficiency, and reporting / performance transparency
Operate at both tactical and strategic levels, ensuring we execute ‘what’s right’ for customers and the business while rapidly ‘getting stuff done' to ensure we deliver on our objectives and drive continuous improvement
Develop and strengthen relationships with our operational business units, product teams, marketing teams, and other internal stakeholders
Ensure pipeline of sales talent, in line with team attrition and movement
What YOU bring with you:
Solid Sales Leadership experience, ideally managing a team selling to small to medium business.
Experience selling digital marketing solutions, online technologies, websites or online advertising would be a huge advantage.
Proven experience leading with common sales tool applications: Salesforce, Sugarcrm or similar
Superb people leadership skills, high EQ, with ability to champion cultural and organizational change
Highly commercial and results oriented
Ability to deal with senior stakeholders with confidence
Independent, motivated self-starter who relishes working in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated experience in developing sales capabilities and best-practice processes in existing teams
Team player who can work effectively alongside other departments where there are mutual dependencies
