Reporting to our Agile Practice Lead, as our new Scrum Master you will facilitate the development of working software in our group of web applications and portals. You will coach our teams to deliver outcomes, through the application of our Agile ways of working by building a high performing team culture to ensure delivery is sustainable
What YOU get to do:
Act as a custodian of the Scrum Process including Scrum Values and Practices of the Development Teams.
Arrange and facilitate Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review (Demo), decision-making processes, Retrospective Meetings and Backlog Refinement Sessions for the scrum team.
Effectively resolve conflict with a focus on the scrum values of openness honesty and respect.
Assist the Product Owner to increase the quality of the Product Backlog in preparation for future sprints.
Be a champion of scrum and agile across the business, facilitating workshops and education (agile principles, user story writing) across the business.
Effectively build relationships with key business and technical stakeholders and decision-makers to help facilitate removal of blockers for the team.
Support the team and contribute to the transition to a truly agile model of delivery.
Support and foster a collaborative and feedback centric team culture.
What YOU will have:
A passion for Agile methodologies
Certified Scrum Master with previous experience interacting and working in multiple team environments
Understanding of Agile development methodologies, scrum theory rules and practices.
An understanding of software development processes and procedures – iterative and incremental development
Proven experience in delivering projects at a high level, on time and on budget
Ability to effectively multi-task and meet strict deadlines
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Exceptional attention to detail
An ability to think creativity and innovate when problem solving
A proactive, can-do attitude
